As President of Accubranch, Mike assists financial institutions in their quest for successful site selection and real estate solutions. His depth of experience allows for optimal translation of a financial institution’s needs into research-driven, comprehensive plans for branch expansion or consolidation within their retail branch network. Mike is also Principal at GOMAN+YORK Property Advisors.
Mike is the former President and CEO of Konover & Associates, during his tenure it was one of the largest development companies in New England. He has over 35 years’ experience in commercial real estate development, management, leasing, investment, financing, acquisition, and disposition. He has overseen numerous large-scale real estate projects, including transactions that have totaled over $3 billion, and over 50 million square feet of development. He has held positions in national real estate organizations and is a nationally known speaker on industry issues.
Nancy Nesbitt
EVP & Chief Operating Officer
As EVP & Chief Operating Officer, Nancy has extensive experience in commercial and retail real estate market research and analysis, sales projections, site selection, contract negotiations, and project development. Nancy was trained to find the 1000% location, designed to out-position competitors in the trade area, and drive optimum revenue. She managed development projects in several states ranging from $15 million to over $130 million for retailers such as McDonald’s Restaurants, Shaw’s Supermarkets, and Safeway Supermarkets.
Nancy spent 13 years as a commercial banker, forming and growing a specialty industry unit, for a $30 billion bank. Nancy is trained in economic development and knows how to work with communities to obtain the necessary approvals for a given project. In addition, she was an Adjunct Professor of Marketing for several years at Central Connecticut State University.
Nancy has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut, a Commercial Real Estate Development and Management Certificate from Cornell University. Nancy currently serves on: the Editorial Advisory Board of the CT Banker’s Association; New England’s Knowledge Corridor Advisory Board; and the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where she also chairs their Human Resource Council.
Jay Fisher
Senior Vice President
As Senior Vice President, Jay is an experienced strategist specializing in client relationships. His focus centers on private landowners navigating the political permitting process to create developments and new projects that serve the needs of clients, communities and neighborhoods. With over 21 years of acquisition and development experience, purchasing or permitting new retail, office, hotel, industrial and residential properties, Jay has earned a deep understanding of his clients’ needs and economics. He expertly navigates the land-use approval process for property owners in a manner that maximizes the return of prospective tenants and buyers.
Jay is the former Director of Development for the Simon Konover Development Corporation and has directed retail projects as large as 425,000 square feet. Prior to that he ran his own residential development business, Development Services, LLC, for 5 years, creating several large age-restricted communities and conventional subdivisions across Connecticut.
Anthony DiFatta, Jr.
Senior Vice President
Andy has over 40 years’ experience in the real estate profession. During that time, he has gained extensive experience in sales, leasing, financial analysis, construction and property management. Prior to joining AccuBranch, Andy was President of Ensign-Bickford Realty Corporation for seven years, directing development activities on 1,200 acres of land across the country. He also oversaw the design, sales, construction and management of a planned residential community that contained over 100 freestanding homes. As a seasoned real estate developer who has played key roles in developing office, industrial, and residential communities, Andy provides clients with superlative advice and guidance in what can often be a convoluted process.
Andy has been on the Goodwin University Board of Trustees since 2008 and currently serves as the chairman of its Facilities & Information Technology Committee. He is a licensed real estate professional in CT, MA, and RI.
Lars Olson
Research & Data Analyst
As a Research Analyst for AccuBranch, Lars brings a fresh perspective of financial analysis to our team. His experience in portfolio management and financial modeling, as well as broad investment research, enables Lars to thoroughly understand an institutions’ risk and reward relationship. He applies that critical thinking to AccuBranch’s analysis and creation of expansion strategies for financial institutions.
A graduate of the University of Rhode Island finance program, Lars is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level 1 candidate and will be sitting for the exam in November 2021. He holds a Bloomberg Certification.
Cynthia Stewart
Managing Director, Southeast Region
Cindy brings over 30 years of experience in retail real estate advocacy as a senior community development and public policy executive with a commitment to public-private partnerships and corporate social responsibility. Cynthia specializes in building bridges between the public and private sectors to create opportunities and navigate the government regulatory process ensuring for successful connections, communication and collaborations.
She most recently served for 21 years with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as a Manager of State Government Relations then Director of Community Relations before her promotion to Vice President, Community Development. At ICSC she led a team that created programs and initiatives focused on emerging issues, real estate challenges and overcoming obstacles to retail development in underserved markets. Prior to her career at ICSC she worked in state and local government as a state senate chief of staff and city clerk.
She currently serves on the Steering Committee for Chicago TREND (a social enterprise focused on neighborhood transforming catalytic retail development). She holds a BAAS in Public Administration from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, TX and is a 2019 graduate of the Johns Hopkins Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Dave Correia
Director of Research & Analytics
Dave is Lead Data Scientist at Accubranch, where his background in quantitative modeling, in-depth knowledge of financial institutions, and GIS software skills provide valuable data to guide financial institutions in their branch network expansion strategies. He provides expertise in data-supported market analysis, detailed financial projections, and in-depth knowledge of public and private funding sources. In addition, he has obtained actuarial examination credit in P/1, FM/2 and VEE certification in Statistics, Finance, and Economics.
Dave brings a quantitative approach to strategic development. He is an alumnus of the University of Connecticut’s Actuarial Science program, His work experience includes Redevelopment Feasibility for the historic Hendey Mill in Torrington CT and TOD Feasibility for communities along the new Hartford Commuter Rail.
Howard Etheridge
Managing Director, Texas
Howard is a key member of the Accubranch team that provides consulting services to banks and credit unions. A seasoned professional with broad executive experience, he has a background in successfully growing revenues in numerous target markets and expanding product and service offerings for clients in a wide range of industries. His accomplishments are due to his excellent communication and organizational skills.
Howard’s strategic planning expertise has made him a transformational leader who can assist other executives in navigating their organization’s goals and objectives through challenging markets. His in-depth understanding of integrated sales and operations helps improve clients’ commercial performance.
Howard’s background includes executive leadership positions in finance, sales operations, customer relations, marketing, plant management, systems engineering, direct sales, and production. His personal career evolved from plant-worker to assistant plant manager, to plant manager, cost estimator, sales representative, President and COO, and eventually Chairman and CEO.
Alyssa Fleming
Research & Data Analyst
As a Research Analyst for AccuBranch, Alyssa brings a critical perspective of financial analysis to our team. Her experience in commercial property analysis and financial planning, enables Alyssa to carefully realize an institutions’ risk and reward relationship. She applies that critical thinking to AccuBranch’s data analysis and expansion strategies for financial institutions.
A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business, Alyssa majored in Economics and Finance, with a minor in Actuarial Sciences. Alyssa is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 Candidate.
Shaan Nayar
Industry Analyst – Banking Sector
As an Industry Analyst for AccuBranch, Shaan brings an analytical and financially driven perspective to our team. His experience in commercial underwriting, market research, and data analytics, enables him to deliver data-driven optimization strategies for financial service companies.
Shaan holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut, as well as a certification in Business Data Analytics. His work experience includes CRE investment & credit analysis.
